The European Commission is looking for digital education innovations to be scaled across Europe. Teams consisting of at least two members, which can include educators, researchers, developers, start-ups, EdTech providers, or other innovators are invited to apply to the Accelerator Programme of the European Digital Education Hub.
The programme helps the education and training sectors to take substantial steps in developing digital education by accelerating a hand-picked selection of innovative prototypes. The end-goal is to support the development of innovative and unique best practices that will bring added value to education and training.
The selection committee assesses prototypes based on their innovativeness, creativity, educational value, team composition, level of technology readiness (solutions need to be advanced enough to be supported and, after a couple of months, tested in the field), and motivation and interest in the programme.
Those selected will receive:
- Training and mentoring focused on educational and business development and growth
- Testing of the prototype in an innovative learning lab or in a real-life setting
- Peer learning, community building, entrepreneurial learning
- Showcasing at a pan-European level
Read more about the programme and apply to the Digital Education Accelerator before April 15th at 23:59 CET. Click here to join the Hub, continue to “Accelerator” – and apply. It is advisable to start the process early, as registration for the Hub will take a couple of days.
